A bird's born

Somebody sent down to the earth this little bird,
fragile and feathered sky blue

to live on the wind,
blowing on the wind,
she sleeps on the wind

She flies so high up in the sky
Way out of reach of human eyes

And the only time that she touches the ground
is when this little blue bird
dies
